Consumer confidence making new highs

Consumer confidence hit the highest level in 15 years. This means consumers are feeling more confident about where the economy is heading. This typically provides an indication of where the economy will go.

How much room does the market have to run?

Historically, when January and February are positive the market does well into the year.

This bodes well for Europe

It looks like the ECB's stimulus program is finally starting to bear fruit. As you can see in the chart below, households and business have started to take on more loans. This means lending channels are finally opening up and this bodes well for European growth.
