Retailers Are Rushing To Hire Seasonal Workers
Data from Indeed.com shows retailers in the US are rushing to hire seasonal employees. Job postings for seasonal jobs started picking up in August, a month earlier than recent years. Job postings as a share of all postings matched or exceeded the peaks of the last three years by early October. This seasonal postings data shows companies are expecting strong consumer demand and expect trouble finding temporary workers.
